Anne S. Mayfield – Therapist / MS, LPC, NCC, CSAT, RRT-P

Anne specializes in addressing sex, love, and relationship addiction, resolving anxiety, and healing trauma and PTSD. In addition to psychotherapy, she uses hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). She provides counseling to adults, adolescents, and couples, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Anne is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), offering therapy to the sex addict, the partner, and/or the coupleship. For addiction recovery, she believes participation in a 12-Step meeting is crucial to the healing process. Anne provides a nurturing, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment in which to explore your issues, and she follows the Rogerian principles of genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Anne guides clients in the development of new strategies to deal with life’s challenges so that they are better able to experience life’s joys.

Anxiety & Depression

Although anxiety and depression are two distinct mental health conditions, they often coexist and share some common features. These symptoms can overlap, and individuals may experience both anxiety and depression simultaneously.

Trauma PTSD

While processing the memory with a tapping device, the memory is integrated into the client’s normal memory. Negative or maladaptive beliefs attached to the memory are then replaced with more adaptive, positive beliefs.

Sex Addiction

In therapy, you’ll be accountable for your behaviors as you learn to identify, regulate, and express your emotions while beginning to establish sobriety from problematic sexual behaviors.
