Ben Otwell – Counseling Intern
Ben believes in the power of stories. We are all telling a story, a narrative we live out in how we act, engage with others, and the way we deal with ourselves. Ben provides a safe space for the exploration of those stories; how changes to the narratives we tell ourselves can ultimately be our source of healing. Ben has 7 years of experience working as a registered behavior technician to children on the spectrum. Ben also has experience working with adolescents and college-age students, and loves working with couples, families and individuals of all ages. He works with clients going through life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, attachment issues, and grief. Ben employs therapeutic modalities such as narrative therapy, existential therapy, psychodynamic and person-centered approaches. Ben is completing his master’s degree in mental health counseling. He works under the supervision of Jenni Kuck.
