Joy Finch – Therapist, Ed.S, LPC, NCC, NET

Joy provides an integrative, strengths-based approach to provide a unique treatment experience for each client. Rather than “fixing what’s wrong,” Joy utilizes philosophies of positive psychology to “build what’s strong.” She uses science based Neuro Emotional Technique™ (NET), specializing in trauma resolution, anxiety, depression, stress reduction, mind-body integration, self-acceptance and overall personal growth with older children through adult individuals. NET is a gentle process that provides quick relief from the effects of unresolved stress patterns, finding and correcting these patterns with pinpoint accuracy and speed. Current published research shows a dramatic reduction in the brain’s response to stressors and trauma after using NET as a therapeutic intervention. It is also used to help in coping with stress and complications of various medical illnesses. This may allow the body to enhance a broad range of positive physical health outcomes.

Therapy Specialities

Trauma EMDR

While processing the memory with a tapping device, the memory is integrated into the client’s normal memory. Negative or maladaptive beliefs attached to the memory are then replaced with more adaptive, positive beliefs.

Anxiety & Depression

Although anxiety and depression are two distinct mental health conditions, they often coexist and share some common features. These symptoms can overlap, and individuals may experience both anxiety and depression simultaneously.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)

Unresolved emotional experiences can manifest as physical symptoms and may contribute to various health issues. NET is used to identify and release the emotional imbalances that may have been stored in the body.
