Nicole Del Vecchio – Marriage & Family Therapist
Nicole has always been passionate about helping people. She worked in corporate operations for ten years, helping small business owners launch and grow their businesses. She recognizes that making a significant life change can be exciting, and it can bring increased stress and anxiety. Nicole specializes in helping individuals ease anxiety, manage unhealthy coping strategies during times of high stress, set healthy boundaries, and achieve their goals. She also has expertise in working with couples navigating early life stage transitions, such as moving in together, getting married, and bringing a baby or pet into their home. She loves to help couples learn how to communicate better, manage conflicts more effectively, and increase emotional closeness. She believes that we all have the capacity to create change in our lives, and she recognizes how hard that path can sometimes feel. She is passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative environment for her clients. She uses an experiential and solution-focused approach while incorporating DBT skills into her practice. She works under Marilyn Witbeck’s supervision.

THERAPY SPECIALITIES
Couples Therapy
The right time to come to couples counseling is – when you decide you want to improve your relationship. In couples therapy, the relationship is the client. The therapist consults with the couple to define the problems they want to address and identify desired treatment outcomes. The therapist will ask each partner about their history with and without the other partner in the room.
