Nicole Jones – Therapist | NET Certified
Nicole has long been drawn to the healing arts. Over 25 years of experience as a registered nurse, she’s worked with new mothers, surgical patients, and adolescents. While caring for these populations, she noticed the emotional loads they often carried. She’s delighted by the intricate connection of physical, mental and spiritual health. Applying this knowledge, Nicole practices holistic and integrative counseling. Nicole seeks to help clients resolve current problems and diffuse long-standing negative beliefs. With sensitivity and compassion, she draws from both conventional and alternative modalities to help clients best meet their goals. In conjunction with talk therapy, she utilizes EMDR, neuro emotional technique (NET), IFS, and DBT. Nicole hopes to take clients beyond a place of understanding, to a place of empowerment and peace. She works under the supervision of Marilyn Witbeck.

Couples Therapy
The right time to come to couples counseling is – when you decide you want to improve your relationship. In couples therapy, the relationship is the client. The therapist consults with the couple to define the problems they want to address and identify desired treatment outcomes. The therapist will ask each partner about their history with and without the other partner in the room.
Teen counseling
Teens who may be experiencing maladaptive, unsafe and unhealthy coping, patterns of unstable relationships, impulsive and possibly risky behaviors, and emotional upheaval will benefit from this group by developing mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
